The Asan Foundation invited the Yanbian University students who are on the Asan scholarship for cultural explorations including traditional culture experiences and a visit to an advanced production facility. These Yanbian University students, currently funded by the Asan Foundation, were given the chance to visit and explore Korea during their summer vacation. I am very grateful to Asan Foundation to have received such assistance, as well as a chance to experience Korean culture with full of heart. Thank you once again. The program lasted for 3 nights and 4 days, during which participants were able to look around AMCs major facilities, experience Koreas traditional culture and visit a local production facility. The Asan Foundation has been funding 180 million won to more than 30 ethnic Korean students attending Yanbian University as scholarship since 2002. The Asan Foundation has been providing the Asan Scholarship to underprivileged students every year and instilling hopes and dreams in them.
