Officials and staffers from Vietnams general hospital and state-run broadcasting station visited AMC to learn about the latest techniques and technology. The healthcare industry is emerging as the new driving force behind Koreas growth, and the number of overseas physicians visiting AMC is currently on a steep increase. Among the visitors were Nhan Dan Gia Dinh Hospitals president and Cho Ray Hospitals vice president as well as high-ranking officials of VTV1. Professor Junpyo Hong of the Department of Plastic Surgery gave a presentation to the visiting physicians introducing AMCs advanced medical systems and past achievements. The Vietnamese visitors were also guided around some of AMCs state-of-the-art facilities including the Asan Cancer Centers emergency treatment room and the anti-cancer injection room.
